Lynn R. Axelroth
Biography
Ms. Axelroth is a partner in the Philadelphia office of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP and is a member of the firms Real Estate Department. She is a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Lynn was the first Managing Partner of the firms Philadelphia office, chaired its Construction Law Practice group, and was the first Chair of the Owners and Lenders Division of the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry, following which she served on the Forums Governing Committee.

Among her experience is the representation of: a world-class orchestra in the development of its new concert hall in a regional performing arts center; a major league team in the development of its new ballpark and Spring Training facilities; an Ivy-League University more than doubling the size of its campus, including the addition of a multi?building science center and stem-cell research facility, classrooms, laboratories, inter?model transportation facilities, signage and other infrastructure, dormitories and other housing complexes, museums, dining halls, entertainment facilities, administrative offices and other related structures; mixed use condominium projects, including commercial, residential, retail, entertainment and structured parking facilities; and a regional transportation authority in the acquisition and turnkey development of its multi?use headquarters facility.
Ms. Axelroth speaks and writes extensively on matters relating to the fields of design and construction, commercial real estate law and finance. She is recognized in, among other publications, Chambers USA: Americas Leading Lawyers for Business as Leaders in their Field in the area of Real Estate; The Best Lawyers in America for Construction and Real Estate law; and the International Whos Who of Business Lawyers in the field of Construction. Among other public service, Lynn is the immediate past Chair of the Board of the Independence Visitor Center Corporation and serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Overseers of the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts of the University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Axelroth graduated cum laude from The Law School of the University of Pennsylvania, and summa cum laude from Temple University, where she was Phi Beta Kappa and a Presidents Scholar.
