The Chicago Dental Society is an association for dentists in the metropolitan Chicago area; organizer of the Midwinter Meeting, the leading scientific dental meeting and tradeshow; and an advocate for improving oral health for all. Since its founding in 1864, and incorporation in 1878, CDSs mission has been to encourage the improvement of the health of the public, to promote the art and science of dentistry and to represent the interest of the members of the profession and the public that it serves.

- This program will review the various modalities used in treating periodontal disease, including chronic and aggressive periodontitis. Diagnosis, risk assessment and identification of endpoints of therapy are critical in establishing a treatment plan.
