Tony Prestipino, CDT Biography Mr. Prestipino completed the Digital Technology program at Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC), received additional specialized training from Pankey and Dawson Institutes and is a Board Certified Dental Technician. He is a member of the National Association for Dental Laboratories, the Academy of Osseointegration, Northern Virginia Implant Society, Northern Virginia Dental Society, Washington DC Dental Society and is a proctor for the National Board for Certification. Mr. Prestipino is a published author and lectures throughout the country on Implant Dentistry. Mr. Prestipino is the President of Artifax Dental Laboratory in the Washington, DC area. Affiliation

Richard M. Price

Richard M. Price Biography Richard Price’s law practice focuses on real estate, real estate finance, housing and community development regulation, and government contracts and administrative law. He regularly represents clients in transactions, administrative proceedings and civil litigation. As a transactional attorney, Mr. Price closes transactions financed with HUD-insured multifamily mortgage loans, Section 236 decouplings, tax credit equity syndications, tax-exempt bonds proceeds, and Rural Housing Service prepayments. Mr. Price defends parties before HUD, USDA and federal courts in suspensions, civil money penalties, debarments and other matters. He litigates issues concerning nonprocurement and procurement contracts with federal agencies, and represents parties in regulatory matters such as lead-based paint enforcement. As a regulatory attorney, Mr. Price assists clients in transfer approvals and in completing special projects. Mr. Price is often involved with the drafting of legislation and has advised parties about affordable housing issues internationally. Mr. Price has written numerous articles and regularly lectures at national educational conferences on various topics, including mortgage sales, workouts, HUD enforcement, fair housing, rural housing and the Low Income Housing Tax Credit. Before joining Nixon Peabody LLP, Mr. Price worked as a trial attorney in the Office of General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He served as coordinator of the Housing and Urban Policy Working Group for the Clinton/Gore ’92 Committee. Richard also co-chaired the American Bar Association’s Eighth Annual Conference on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law (June 1999). Affiliation

Stuart Prince Biography Stuart Prince is a Vice President of Multi-family development at The Peterson Companies in Fairfax, Virginia. At the Peterson Companies, he serves as a Development Project Manager for a number of TPC multi-family projects, including three buildings under construction at the National Harbor project on the Potomac River in Maryland. Mr. Prince joined The Peterson Companies in 2005 from the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins LLP, a large international law firm. At Latham & Watkins from 2001 to 2005, Mr. Prince focused on company and bank representation in high-yield debt offerings, with transactions exceeding over $1.5 billion. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as an analyst at two affiliated real estate finance companies in Atlanta, Georgia, Shoptaw-James, Inc. (subsequently acquired L.J. Melody) and Main America Capital (acquired by GMAC Commercial). Mr. Prince earned a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and graduated magna cum laude from the Washington College of Law at American University, where he was a member of the American University Law Review. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, and currently serves as the Secretary and a Board member of the First Tee of Washington, D.C, a non-profit organization targeting disadvantaged youths through the game of golf and its Life Skills program. Leta A. Principe Biography Leta Principe is a partner of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in Washington, D.C. office, where she concentrates her practice in commercial real estate law. She has represented institutional lenders in a variety of commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine, construction and permanent financing, and has also advised private equity funds and other institutional investors in the acquisition, disposition and financing of a wide range of commercial real estate assets, including hotels, mixed use projects and timberlands. She also has extensive experience in representing institutional purchasers in connection with the origination and post-closing ownership of multifamily housing municipal bonds used to finance the construction and rehabilitation of low income multifamily housing projects. Ms. Principe received a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from Wesleyan University in 1993, and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1999, where she participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic.
