Steven K. Mignogna
Biography
Steven K. Mignogna, Esquire, is a shareholder in the Litigation Department of Archer &
Greiner, A Professional Corporation. He specializes in commercial litigation, with a
concentration on litigation involving probate matters, estates, fiduciaries, guardianships, and real
estate. He is also chair of the firm’s Estate and Trust Litigation Group.
Steve has represented both institutions and individuals. The institutions include banks,
corporate fiduciaries, investment companies, real estate firms, and title insurance companies.
The individuals include the beneficiaries of estates and trusts, executors, trustees, guardians,
incapacitated persons, surviving spouses, investors, realtors, and persons having an interest in
real estate. He has handled an assortment of cases in the state and federal courts, at both the trial
and appellate levels.
Steve has lectured and published locally and nationally. For example, he has lectured and
published for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Heckerling Institute,
and the American Law Institute and American Bar Association. He authors the treatise, Estate
and Trust Litigation, and is the editor and contributing author of The New Jersey Estate Planning
Manual, both published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Steve is active in a wide array of professional associations. He is a Fellow of the
American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). He is a member of ACTEC’s
Fiduciary Litigation Committee, and its Subcommittee on Fiduciary Surcharge and
Damages/Remedies. He is also Chair of the Probate and Fiduciary Litigation Committee, in the
American Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. For several years,
he was Co-Chair of the Publications Subcommittee for the Real Estate and Probate Litigation
Committee, in the American Bar Association’s Litigation Section.
He is admitted to the bars of the state and federal courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
He is also admitted to practice before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States
Supreme Court.
Steve has been an attorney since 1989 and has been with Archer & Greiner since 1988,
when he joined the firm as a law clerk. He earned his law degree from Rutgers University
School of Law. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in English from St. Joseph’s University in
Philadelphia, in 1986. He received a wide array of awards and recognitions upon completion of
both college and law school, graduating from college at the top of his class and from law school
with high honors.

Kevin Millard
Biography
Kevin D. Millard is a partner in Chorney & Millard LLP in Denver, Colorado, practicing estate
planning, probate, and trust administration. He also serves as an expert witness in litigated
matters concerning estate planning and the administration of trusts and estates.
Mr. Millard is a 1972 graduate, magna cum laude, of Kenyon College, where he was elected to
Phi Beta Kappa, and a 1975 graduate, cum laude, of the University of Minnesota Law School.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Millard was in private law practice in Minneapolis for five
years, and then spent one year as an Assistant Professor of Law at William Mitchell College of
Law, teaching trusts and legal research and writing, before moving to Colorado and resuming
private practice. As an adjunct professor, Mr. Millard has taught Trusts and Estates at the
University of Minnesota Law School and the University of Denver College of Law, and Estate
Planning at the University of Colorado Law School.
Mr. Millard has held leadership positions in the Trust & Estate section of the Colorado Bar
Association (including serving as chair of the section) and has been an active participant in its
estate planning forms committee and its statutory revisions committee. A Fellow of the American
College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Mr. Millard is the current Colorado State Chair for
ACTEC, a member of the ACTEC State Laws Committee and its subcommittee on Uniform
Trust and Estate Laws, and previously co-chaired the ACTEC Legal Education Committee. In the
ABA Real Property Probate & Trust section, Mr. Millard is co-vice chair of the Uniform Acts for
Probate and Trust Law Committee.
Mr. Millard has participated in numerous continuing legal education programs and has published
a number of articles on estate planning topics. His most recent significant publications include an
article in the RPPT Journal, The Trustee’s Duty to Inform and Report Under the Uniform Trust
Code, 40 REAL PROP. PROB. & TR. J. 373 (Summer 2005), and a book on drafting estate planning
documents, DRAFTING WILLS, TRUSTS, AND OTHER ESTATE PLANNING DOCUMENTS: A STYLE
MANUAL (Bradford Publishing 2006).

Lee P. Miller
Biography
Lee Miller manages the New York office of Threshold Group, the multi-client family office
created by George Russell, the founder of Frank Russell & Co (now known as Russell
Investments following its sale in 1999 to Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company) and
owned by three generations of the Russell Family. Lee has more than 25 years’ experience
advising multi-generation families on their trust, estate and cash flow planning needs as well as
financial and philanthropic education. Prior to joining Threshold, Lee was a senior officer with
U.S. Trust Company for eighteen years, most recently as its senior fiduciary in New York. She is
an attorney and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor®, and has written and lectured on fiduciary
and wealth management topics. She has taught Fiduciary Administration and Drafting at the ALIABA
STEP Program since 2006, and her articles include Discretion and the Distant Beneficiary in
Trusts & Investments Magazine, March/April 2001, and Junior Boards in Trusts & Estates, August
2007. BA, University of Pennsylvania cum laude; JD, Emory University. Member of the State
Bars of New York and Georgia. Lee is on the Board of Directors of Glynwood Center (Cold

David L. Miller
Biography
David L. Miller is a partner in the Real Estate Section of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP located at Tysons Corner, Virginia. He is the immediate post chair of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers Attorneys Opinions Committee and a post chair of the real estate opinion committee of the ABA RPTE Section. He graduated in 1976 from the George Washington University and in 1979 from the University of Michigan Law School. In addition to his traditional real estate acquisition, finance and leasing practice, Mr. Miller has represented federal agencies and private developers in a wide variety of public-private partnerships. He has written and lectured on legal opinions, public private partnerships and many other topics relating to business and real estate transactions.
