Alan D. Keiser

Alan D. Keiser Biography Alan Keiser is a Vice President and Major Transactions Counsel for Commonwealth Lawyers Title's Philadelphia Commercial Services office. At Commonwealth Lawyers Title he provides real estate and title services needed to close single site, multi-site and multi-state real estate transactions nationwide for investors, developers, REITS, corporations and lenders. Prior to joining Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation, he practiced real estate law with the firms of Toll, Ebby & Langer and Drinker Biddle & Reath, specializing in documenting and closing complex real estate transactions. From 1970-1973 he was a captain in the United States Air Force, assigned to the Honors Program of The General Counsel of the Department of the Air Force. Mr. Keiser received his B.A. degree magna cum laude from Dickinson College where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa, and his J.D. degree from Yale Law School where he was a member of The Yale Law Journal. He is currently active in: (1) the real estate sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, for which he is chair of the Title Insurance Committee, (2) the Real Property and Probate Section of the American Bar Association, for which he is chair of the Title Insurance and Survey Committee and Co- Chair of the Sponsorship Committee, and (3) the Philadelphia District Council of ULI where he serves on the board of directors and governance committee.
