Who Should Attend?
This symposium is designed for physicians, psychologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other health professionals involved in the care of patients with head, neck, and orofacial pain.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this conference the attendee shall be able to:
- Discuss the major advances of headache medicine over the last 50 years and their impact on the field
- Describe current concepts of pain modulation and its role in the neurobiology of chronic pain
- Describe the current state of neurostimulation for the treatment of refractory primary headache disorders
- Discuss the evaluation and treatment of idiopathic intracranial hypertension and intracranial hypotension
- Describe the basic science and clinic advances in headache medicine over the last year
